Family

I was bitten by the travel bug at an early age.  My parents took me and my brother camping and sightseeing in the North Georgia Mountains,  I was hooked. Some of my fondest memories revolve around boating, fishing, camping, and eating a sack lunch creekside with my parents and brother.

As I transitioned to adulthood and had a family of my own, It was important for me to pass those same memories to my children. I began planning camping trips for each break and during the summers.   My children loved it as much as I did. Now, we have grandchildren who joined the adventures. Special stolen moments from this crazy world that I will cherish forever.

Camping is so important to families.  It provides a unique opportunity for quality time together, disconnecting from the stress and technology of everyday life, and fostering bonding experiences that your children will remember for a lifetime.

We hope that Big Fish at Wedowee will provide a place for you and your family to experience those precious memories!
